For 20 years, Angelcare has been at the forefront of parents’ minds, setting the standard in the world’s best
baby items. Our mission is giving parents peace of mind while helping their children thrive. Over the years,
Angelcare expanded its products portfolio reaching leadership position in segments like baby monitors,
nappy disposal systems and bath products. Today, Angelcare has offices in Canada, United States, France
and UK distributing its products in 60 countries serving the most important retail customers in North America
as such Walmart, Target, Amazon, ToysRus, Sam’s Club and Walgreens.

Recently, Angelcare concluded a commercial agreement to acquire Infant and Pet Care business from
Edgewell/Playtex and consequently increases its direct sales channel presence in the United States. This
new ownership definitively unleashes future growth potential but also calls for a distribution network
reconfiguration in North America in line with the customer requirements and Angelcare business plan
objectives. While integrating this new scope into the current business, the company is investing into
additional growth levers with a focus on new ERP system implementation and new product developments.

In this context, the new Director Logistic and Customer Services role becomes a key position within the
Angelcare Management Team, giving the candidate a unique opportunity to set a solid operational
foundation and significantly impact the company future results. This position reporting directly to the Chief
Executive Officer is based in Montreal with a possibility for home office work occasionally. Some travelling
will be required to visit the main customers and logistic partners but not extensively at steady-state.

Main Strategic Objectives and related responsibilities:

Support the business growth plan following a recent acquisition (40%)

  • Understand and improve the customer service to sustain our competitive position with key accounts;
  • Ensure project leadership to reconfigure the North America distribution network and delivering on
    the established transition timeline;
  • Secure existing or establish new logistic partnerships to support the business model evolution;
  • Maintain a strong connection with the commercial leadership team to anticipate future business
    needs and define optimal solution set;
  • Actively engaged in the new ERP system implementation ensuring proper functionalities and
    interfaces are built to meet future supply chain requirements;
  • Adapt operation practices working with external partners to new growth opportunity like B2C;
  • Continuously adapt and optimize key processes, systems & organizational elements.

Supply Chain Efficiency and Working Capital Optimization (25%)

  • Constantly working with the key customer accounts on demand planning & forecasting processes
    as well on supplier lead-times reduction to optimize inventory while delivering on customer service
    level expectations;
  • Strategically work with our 3rd party logistic partners the optimize warehouse efficiency;
  • Identify and implement outbound freight cost optimization opportunities;
  • Promote continuous improvement mindset focusing on waste elimination.

Ensure efficient performance monitoring and promote best practices globally (20%)

  • Manage the budget/forecasts process and implement cost mitigation strategies when needed;
  • Act a logistic and customer services expert for smaller sites outside on North America and establish
    a global governance mechanism connecting all sites leaders worldwide;
  • Define standard KPIs across all sites (including main International market like France and UK)
    reflecting the Service Level Agreement with 3PL;
  • Monitor 3PL performance against contractual requirements and make proper adjustments where

Build and adapt the Logistic and Customer Services organization to the new challenges (10%)

  • Define and build the most efficient organization in the light of the new business opportunities;
  • Develop existing talent pool and acquire new talents;
  • Efficiently manage the resources remotely located;
  • Establish a culture of constant learning and development.


  • Bachelor’s in business administration, Logistic & Distribution or Engineering;
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management in similar consumer goods
  • Lead supply chain optimization projects and associated system implementation;
  • Solid experience working in a third-party logistic model;
  • Good knowledge of known supply chain operating systems (DMS and TMS);
  • Certification and membership to core supply chain associations will be greatly considered;
  • Fluent in English. French will be an asset but not a limitation.

  • Recognized ability to solve problems and make sound decisions;
  • Capable to efficiently communicate and promote his ideas to key stakeholders, including partners.
