Job Description

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), the Vice President of Operations, is responsible for driving operations across Earth Rated including four primary areas of responsibility: supply-chain, contract manufacturing, digital transformation and shared services.The incumbent will oversee various initiatives including operational KPIs, project management, process improvements, operational KPIs, and strategic growth initiatives. The incumbent is highly driven and motivated with the ability to adapt prior experience in a flexible manner to the pet industry.



  • Lead the Operations strategy for a swiftly scaling organization;
  • Maintain and execute a multi-year supply chain roadmap that aligns with company growth plans and addresses opportunities for continuous process improvement;
  • Develop and grow factory partnerships that helps meet our business objectives for innovation, product development and speed to market, price/value and quality;
  • Monitor global risks, establish strategic direction, and set goals for international sourcing strategy;
  • Define organizational structure, set objectives manage workloads and results to achieve goals while adopting best practices;
  • Ensure high employee engagement at every level through effective motivation, coaching, training, and development of personnel on the team;
  • Build and maintain cross functional partnerships and relationships across the company as well as with external partners;
  • Champion responsibility and sustainable innovation throughout the supply chain;
  • Strive for achieving maximum speed and flexibility in product lead times.


What we are looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business administration, or related field; MBA or master’s degree in related field preferred;
  • 10-15 years of proven leadership in supply-chain (strong understanding of global logistics) and manufacturing along with leadership experience in growing, building, and mentoring teams;
  • Experience in leading digital transformation, data science, project management and shared services within an organization;
  • Strong relationship-building skills and experience working closely with senior executives and cross-functional partners to influence strategic agendas and operationalize key strategic initiatives;
  • Strong presentational skills and business case development and analysis;
  • Outstanding project planning, communication (verbal and written) and relationship skills (internal and external);
  • Love tackling complex problems and developing and implementing data-driven solutions and have strong listening skills that enable you to understand the “why” and get to what matters quickly;
  • Highly developed EQ and emotional resiliency;
  • Ability to work cross-culturally and across time zones;
  • The ability to travel (when safe to do so).


What would set you apart?

  • CPG/FMCG experience with similar strategic role;
  • Proven experience in dynamic high growth environments ($30M to $300M+);
  • Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of an organization;
  • Experience with omni ecosystem (B2B, D2C, Amazon) supply chain;
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a dynamic business landscape;
  • Ability to manage multiple targets in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment;
  • Extensive experience with leading and advancing strategy and linking with operational systems (EOS, OKR, etc.).
