MONTREAL SITE LEAD

Summary:

Reporting directly to the Senior Vice-President, the Montreal Site Lead maintains the holistic oversight of the Montreal operation and harmonizes Cobham strategies, standards, best practices, resources, and technologies.

The incumbent will provide strong leadership over a team of qualified resources while ensuring training needs are reviewed and met to maintain operating efficiency and effectiveness.

 

Role & responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the successful operation of the site.
  • Identifies opportunities to optimize and standardize business processes.
  • Manage the administrative and financial organization of the site.
  • Manage the site’s players and resources: leadership, guidance, development, objectives and performances.
  • Define the products and services, their characteristics and their positioning in coherence and coordination with the other sites of the group.
  • Ensure the profitability of the site and improve it.
  • Reports and communicates regularly to the SVP Operations.

 

Skills & requirements

With a technical educational background, and with at least seven years of experience in the management of maintenance and repair teams for aeronautical products, the candidate must demonstrate:

  • Strong organizational, human relations and problem-solving skills.
  • Leadership, communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Rigor, a sense of organization and an ability to plan, prioritize and execute several activities.
  • A good ability to operate in a autonomous way.
  • Good ease of adaptation and availability,
  • Good written and oral communication skills (French / English spoken / written).

A plus would be to also be able to justify:

  • Knowledge of aeronautical regulations.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft software (Outlook Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
