The opportunity
The Director, Digital Human Resources and Process Improvement is responsible to bring processes and solutions to the next level by leveraging existing or new technological HR solutions, while reviewing and enhancing business processes in key HR areas. To be successful in this role, the incumbent will use their in-depth experience in HR to challenge status quo, identify areas of improvement with the HR business leaders and lead a collaborative framework between the HR business community and the Digital HR group to ensure successful delivery of initiatives.
The role
- Oversee HR process improvement initiatives from start to finish. This includes monitoring priorities, getting sound understanding of business needs and pre-identified areas of improvement, scoping initiatives, assembling a project team for each sub-initiative, leading the understanding of AS IS process leading into the re-design of the TO BE process and lead the design thinking efforts by integrating the right resources (HR, HRIS, etc).
- Interact with key stakeholders, including HR leaders, local HR teams and vendors. Assess external and internal practices, stays up to speed with trends and best practices. Lead fit-gap efforts.
- Assess external technologies and engage with vendors to see demos, question what could be implemented and whether the recommended solution brings sufficient return on investment.
- Set sub-project structure and lead collaborative / steering meetings with relevant stakeholders. Ensure every project be collaborative and that a sound balance is found between the business and the Digital HR team.
- Drive effective change management efforts to ensure successful implementation. Collaborates with project subject matter experts to ensure proper training and roll out plan.
What you will bring to the role
Knowledge & Professional Experience
- Master’s degree or MBA is a definite asset.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Administration, or relevant fields of study.
- Minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in Human Resources, specifically in Talent Acquisition.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Managerial role.
